Reality and Nihilism in Continental Philosophy

The research aims at examining the identity of continental thought by showing the relevance of the problem of reality through a conceptual investigation of the question of nihilism. The research project with develop the hypothesis that the same concept of reality might become the criterion of identity of continental thought. To this end, she proposed a theoretical and philosophical analysis of nihilism and negativity, with a special focus on the significance of: 1) the difference between concepts of reality and actuality, and 2) the problem of derealization in its relation to nihilism. In this context, she clarified theoretically hers concept of Plastic or Spectral Reality. Among the other topics connected with the research, special attention has given to the problem of reality, negativity, language, subject and identity in Continental Philosophy and in the Western tradition.
